August 2011 – Summer Blood Drive
At area car dealerships, listeners donated 150 pints of blood to the American Red Cross impacting 450 lives.
July 2011 – School Supply Drive
At area collection centers at Chick-Fil-A restaurants and other local businesses, listeners contributed enough supplies to provide 400 students with school supplies they need for the year.
June 2011 – Heart for Lebanon
563 Listeners partnered with Heart for Lebanon to send 185 students to Christian schools in Beirut, Lebanon. This was an increase of 31 students from last year.
March 2011 – Trachoma Blindness Mission Project
Listeners raised more than $175,000 in its annual Spring fundraiser for Christian Blind Mission International. The funds are enough to supply more than 35,000 families with the medicine to prevent blindness due to Trachoma.
December 2010 – Families Helping Families
Listeners adopted 177 in-need families across the listening area to help provide gifts for them for Christmas. Listeners who adopted a family then went out and bought the gifts themselves. Gifts ranged from shoes to jackets to toys to food for a Christmas dinner.
November 2010 – Operation Christmas Child Collection
At area collection centers at Chick-Fil-A restaurants, listeners donated 7,632 shoe boxes to Samaritan’s Purse to be used for distribution across the world. This was a 300 box increase from last year.
