I love to hear someone tell a good story. To step back and listen to a storyteller paint the picture in words and be able to see everything unfold in your mind. For me it is energizing and inspiring.
I have the privilege, almost daily, to hear a story of a life changed and I think “isn’t that wonderful”. It is not the circumstances of the story that is necessarily wonderful but it is the main character. Here at 106.9 the Light the main character in the stories we hear is Jesus and how He has changed the life of someone.
Michelle shared with me that she works in health care and how discouraged she has been. She is divorced, her children have let home and she works in an environment that is not “Christian friendly”. She just wanted me to know that listening to 106.9 the Light encourages her and gives her hope to keep loving people and trying to make a difference in her world. Can’t you see Michelle in her scrubs, hair pulled back, on her feet, going from room to room putting a bandage on someone, giving medication to another; taking care of others. But who is taking care of Michelle, who tells Michelle she is valuable? You are, with your prayers and support.
Thank you for making a difference with your gift.
